HT2, innovators in learning technology, are very proud to announce the establishment of HT2 Inc, a wholly owned US subsidiary with offices in La Jolla, just north of San Diego, CA. The announcement comes on the eve of the biggest learning technology conference in North America, DevLearn, where HT2 Inc will be on hand demonstrating their breakthrough social learning product, Curatr.
“It was such an easy decision for us to expand to the US,” commented CEO Ben Betts. “The thought leadership and appetite for innovation stunned us at last year’s DevLearn and just confirmed what we already knew—to be a global success on the learning tech scene, you need to be in the USA. This move will see us establish a permanent base here and allow us to support our customers locally, as well as globally.”
HT2 is well known as the company behind the social learning platform Curatr, which is being exhibited for the first time at the DevLearn conference in Las Vegas from October 30 to November 2. With a range of US clients including Duke CE, Pearson
Education, Office Depot, and the University of San Diego, HT2 is already a well-known name in the US marketplace.
“Southern California has been our home away from home for many years, where we’ve been working with clients like the University of San Diego to create award-winning innovations that push the boundaries of online learning,” continued Betts. “The tech scene in California is legendary—it’s where you’ve got to be if you want to be taken seriously, and we’re certainly coming to play.”
HT2 Inc will be in booth 617 throughout DevLearn, with Ben Betts speaking at both Wednesday’s Morning Buzz session and on Friday afternoon in conversation with Patti Shank, discussing the research behind the informal and social learning movements.
