Vince Ricci is Associate Director and Instructional Designer at The Princeton Review of Japan. He earned his BA in History at Stanford University, and his masters in Educational Communication and Technology at NYU’s School of Education. While in New York, Vince served as Founding Technologist at Columbia University’s Center for New Media Teaching & Learning.

In the West, for the past decade, we have been thinking about mobile learning and about using games to teach. In Asia, and especially in Japan, practitioners have gone far beyond merely speculating about these channels for learning, to developing a broad range of innovative applications.
