Viki Bowen, Ed. D., is employed by General Dynamics C4 Systems in the Orlando Battle Management Systems Division where she is Chief Engineer, Learning Solutions. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Georgia where her research focused on cognition and multimedia in computer-based training.
Dr. Bowen has 24 years of experience developing distributed learning products and managing production teams. She is a skilled programmer, human factors engineer, and facilitator. She currently leads a team developing distributed training for the Joint Force Support Component Command and other Joint Logistics organizations. She also leads the Future Combat Systems Level 1 Fusion Interactive Multimedia Instruction Development Team.
She previously headed the Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency’s (AFCESA) Automated Civil Engineer Systems (ACES) web training team. She was instrumental in establishing several of AFCESA’s Communities of Practices and aided in establishing their knowledge management program.
