eMail:

Ellen Meiselman is an e-Learning developer for the University of Michigan Health System. She produces Web video and online presentations for the mandatory education used by the entire staff of the Health System. Working primarily in the Windows Media Format because her audience uses a Windows platform, Ellen also produces QuickTime alternatives for materials that are of more general interest. She notes that her customers have been increasingly clamoring for captioned video and presentations, but her budget did not allow purchase of one of the expensive commercial captioning packages. After some experimentation with the available software, Ellen successfully developed an efficient workflow using Subtitle Workshop.
