Kathryn Tart

Kathryn Tart is a registered nurse and assistant professor at the Texas Woman’s University campus in Houston, Texas. She serves as undergraduate nursing program coordinator in Houston and co-chair of the College of Nursing Program Evaluation Committee. She has worked at TWU for 6 years and teaches a number of online graduate education courses. Kathryn has a BA in Nursing from Luther College, an MS in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center, and an EdD in administration and supervision from the University of Houston.

Program Evaluation via Online Enterprise

The evaluation process in education should be systematic and continuous in order to improve quality and effectiveness. By moving evaluation online using Blackboard, the College of Nursing at Texas Woman’s University has improved both consistency and usability of evaluation information. It has shortened the time between data gathering and reporting, and improved communication.
