Dr. Margaret Martinez, CEO at The Training Place, Inc., a woman- and minority-owned company, has worked extensively in instructional psychology, design, and technology for the past 20 years. She has a Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology and Technology and was previously Director of Worldwide Training, Certification, and Conferences at WordPerfect Corporation. Dr. Martinez is nationally recognized for her learning orientation research, has received research awards from various organizations, publishes regularly, presents at national conferences, and teaches seminars.  Concurrently, she continues her research developing innovative Web learning solutions that successfully support how people like and expect to learn differently.
