Alicia has recently celebrated her third year as Games Czar of Defense Acquisition University, where she oversees the use of games and simulations in their curriculum. In that time, Alicia has developed an award-winning games initiative that ranges from classroom to casual game-based implementations with an emphasis on experiential learning and content reinforcement. Alicia also recently launched the Emerging Technology Collaboration Center in partnership with the ADL Co-Lab in Orlando, Florida, where she resides. Alicia earned her PhD at the University of Central Florida with the Institute of Simulation and Training’s Modeling and Simulation Program prior to her appointment at Defense Acquisition University.
