Global Giveback 3 at Learning Solutions 2012

Learning Solutions hosted the first LINGOs Global Giveback Competition back in 2010, asking eLearning designers to join an international competition to develop eLearning courses to help NGOs like Child Fund International, Catholic Relief Services, Mercy Corps, Save the Children, and World Vision, train their staffs around the world. The response was tremendous. There are now over 50 Global-Giveback-developed courses in use in the field around the world. 

Here are the four competition categories for this year:

Category

Description

Simulations and Games

Learning products that provide  an immersive and interactive environment that requires knowledge, decision making, and information management skills.

Field Generated Content

Learning products developed in coordination with Subject Matter Experts located in field offices and intended to address the immediate needs of operational staff who lead projects.

Mobile Learning

Learning content delivered through portable technologies including but not limited to handheld computers, MP3 players and mobile phones.

General Learning

Technology assisted learning content designed to be shared via the LINGOs member organization's Learning Management System.
