Allen Learning Technologies Launches Private Beta Program "Zebra" at DevLearn|10

Anyone may apply to participate in the Beta program for Zebra, a rapid e-Learning creation and deployment platform. Zebra will become available to the public in the first half of 2011.

Today at Devlearn|10, Allen Learning Technologies announced its private Beta program for Project Zebra. Project Zebra is the innovation of Dr. Michael Allen (founder of Allen Interactions, inventor of Authorware, co-founder of Macromedia) and has been under wraps for intensive R&D. The Beta program encourages anyone to apply, but you must be accepted to the program to obtain access to the platform.

"Zebra allows anyone to rapidly create and deploy interactive applications without having to know how to program,” explained Michael Allen, CEO and founder of Allen Learning Technologies. “We are excited about our vision of allowing individuals to explore, learn, create, and share interactive applications that have a focus on learning."

The private Beta program plans to admit approximately 150 Beta users and become open to the public sometime in the first half of 2011.
