Assima Announces the Acquisition of Kaplan Learning Technologies

(London, 10 Feb 2012 — Training Press Releases) Assima PLC announced on February 9, 2012 the acquisition of Kaplan Learning Technologies from Kaplan, Inc. The deal formally completed on February 9th 2012 and covers all assets and intellectual property associated with the STT Trainer and Atlantic-Link product lines but excludes the PerformIT product line. Kaplan Learning Technologies had business operations in Atlanta, GA, USA; Reading & Nottingham, UK and Cape Town, South Africa; these will join the Assima organization.

STT Trainer and Atlantic Link are well-established, award winning collaborative platforms for authoring rich eLearning content currently used by over 200 clients worldwide, including Shell International, Barclays Bank, E.on, Heineken, Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Lancashire County Council, Warburtons, Santander, BskyB, and BT Plc.
