Alana
Meeker has 20 years experience in the field of corporate training and
development with expertise in Web-based and instructor-led training. She has
held the positions of consultant, training manager, project manager,
instructional systems designer, and trainer. Alana holds a Master's degree in
Corporate Training and Development from Northwestern University, and is
currently pursuing a doctoral degree from Wayne State University in Instructional
Technology. She received the 1999 ShowCase Corporation (now SPSS, Inc.) award
presented for producing high-quality training materials and achieving
consistently high customer satisfaction as an instructional designer and
instructor. Alana has been on the e-Learning team at Ford Motor Company since
2006.
This is our story about an efficient and effective method to facilitate knowledge transfer from SME to ISD to Developer, and the production of a simple WBT format that both promotes learning and maintains our quality standards.
