Katherine J. Werner currently lives in Chicago and works for Tellabs, a telecommunications infrastructure company. She is with the Product Training Services group as a Senior Media Designer, where she creates technology-based, product-focused training solutions for employees and external customers. She recently earned an M.S. in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University, an online university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (NCA). Prior to joining Tellabs, Katherine worked for the School of Education at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, delivering technology training and creating Web solutions to enhance learning opportunities for faculty, staff, and students. She also worked in the not-forprofit sector, providing technology training and designing and developing Web sites for several agencies.
