Additional Program Features
Learning Solutions Conference & Expo offers you a variety of program activities and services designed to provide you with key information and ideas that you can immediately put to work to improve your organization’s eLearning efforts.
Tin Can Alley
Tin Can Alley is where you can learn about the Experience API (Project Tin Can), ADL’s next-generation SCORM specification.
- See how the Experience API will deliver tracking of learning events in many formats
- Get exclusive updates on the progress of the Experience API directly from ADL
- Meet the early adopters who can help you understand the benefits of implementing this new specification
The Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) initiative is focused on open, community-powered efforts to develop and promote emerging learning technologies.
The eLearning Guild is proud to support our Program Partner, ADL, by providing a wide variety of learning opportunities to help facilitate the advancement of the new Experience API.
MAP Deck: Create Your Own Conference Mash-up
The eLearning Guild is always on the lookout for innovative ways to help you bring the information you’ve learned at our conferences back home. Aggregate and mash-up any number of slides from sessions at Learning Solutions 2013 using MAP Deck, and create a single new “trip report” presentation that you can share with others. Now when colleagues back at the office ask, “So what did you learn at the conference?” you can show them.
MAP Deck is based on edCetra Training’s ANAN software and we’re excited to use this service at Learning Solutions 2013.
eLearning Bookstore
While we all like to spend the bulk of our time thinking about eLearning, it’s easy to forget that we can learn a great deal from BOOKS! Learning Solutions Conference & Expo will once again offer a comprehensive eLearning-focused bookstore managed by BreakPoint Books. You’ll find all the latest books on every aspect of learning, training, and eLearning.
